Ryker needs your help!

My sister and brother-in-law, Vickie and Scott Bohn, adopted a German Shephard (they believe), Ryker, about a year and a half ago. He is a sweet dog that has had a lot of medical issues after they took him in. The story begins when they saw him being walked one day by a guy along the side of the road. They noticed that something just wasn’t right, had a gut feeling that he needed help, and decided to take a better look. They were right, Ryker became part of their family.
Since taking him in, they have found out that Ryker has serious allergies and takes medications every day to help him breathe. The medications and visits to the vet monthly have not stopped them from making sure that Ryker has the best care.
Last Friday when he was out playing in the yard with his companion Zelda, he had an accident, they rushed him to the vet. Ryker tore his tendon, dislocated his hip, and injured his kneecap. The doctor was able to relocate his hip, but Ryker needs to have major surgery on his knee to repair it. If it is not repaired, he will not be able to walk on it again.
They have checked into several different vet hospitals from Iowa thru Colorado, Missouri, Nebraska, and Illinois and find that the prices range from $5,000.00 to $10,000.00 for this repair to Ryker. They have also checked the college of ISU resulting in the same story. They have been told by the doctors, that there will be a lot of aftercare needed as well.
If you are able, please help by donating something to assist with the care of this sweet boy. Or if you are maybe just able to share this message so someone out there might be able to help donate. Please do so for anything that will help this sweet boy Ryker. I know my sister and her family appreciate your kindness and any help that you can give in this time of need for Ryker.
Ryker is a good boy, loving and selfless with his unconditional love. He appreciates all the help and love he has received in his life on this wonderful earth. Please help Ryker to get the surgery and be out of pain and see that humans can be as selfless as he is.
A special thank you in advance from me for your assistance with this sweet boy Ryker's medical needs.
