Jason's kidney donation

I am a UPS driver in Oklahoma City. In this position, I am able to meet many different people. I see most of them on a daily basis. I get to know them, and they become friends. I hear their stories, and they hear mine. I truly care about them.
One of these "customers" got sick. His kidneys are failing. He is young. He has a wife and 3 young kids. I thought, "Why couldn't I give him a kidney?" So I started the process about a year ago to see if I would even match. So far, everything checks out and it looks to be something that God has already planned out. We actually have the same birthday! I believe I was put on this path for "such a time as this."
The one question I get asked is "Why?"
Well, why not? If people matter to God, then they should matter to me.
Being that I lift heavy boxes and have to be very physical in my job, my recovery time will be a few weeks longer than average. I will not be getting paid while I recover, except a small percentage of my income from short term disability. I am asking that you please consider donating, so that my family does not have to change our lifestyle significantly during my recovery. Anything over what will sustain us will be given to the organ recipient for medical bills.
