On March 14th, Melissa and her mother Pamela Yaeger while on their way home from work were involved in a terrible car accident on interstate 64/40 in St. Charles. The vehicle occupied by the Yaeger's was struck by a drunk driver traveling at a very high rate of speed, subsequently causing the Yaeger's SUV to strike the concrete median before overturning several times. Melissa, the passenger was taken to the hospital with critical injuries and remains in the ICU at this time. Sadly, Melissa's mother, Pamela did not survive the crash.
The Yaeger family is understandably struggling during this very difficult time so it is with deep sadness and a very heavy heart to share the news of this devestating tragedy.
