My fathers recovery

Hi everyone, my name is Tiffany, I’m here to raise funds for my father who unexpectedly got sick and had emergency surgery.

On July 20th my father developed severe abdominal pain accompanied by chills, what we thought could have been kidney stones or his appendix turned out to be much worse than we imagined. If we didn’t get him to go to the ER , he could have gone septic. He went to the ER that night to come to find out he perforated his bowel/hole in his colon and undiagnosed diverticulitis which he never knew he had. The doctor had come in to tell him the news and that he needed emergency surgery. On the 21st he had surgery and had a colostomy bag put on, which will now be a part of him for the next 3-6 months. This is very hard for us , but with an amazing support system we know that we will all get through this together! He has a long road to recovery, he’s currently in the hospital for the next week with round about care and will need a home nurse to come in to help with his wound care/colostomy bag for the next few months. Then another surgery if everything goes well for the reversal. Unexpected medical bills, being out of work and wound care will be a very expensive. To relieve some of the stress off my parents , if anyone can help it would be so greatly appreciated! My father is a very prideful man and would never ask anyone for $ so we are creating this for him. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the prayers , my father will get through this !
