Ya-Ka-Ama Housing Fire Victims
Tax deductible
In an effort to stabilize community members affected by the Sonoma, Mendocino, Lake, and Napa County fires, Ya-Ka-Ama has opened it's property to house evacuees while working to implement short-term reliable housing. We are open to errecting a sprung structure, obtain tiny houses for small families, purchase camping equipment (to allow for immediate camping to take place), and acquire additional restroom, garbage/recycle, and shower facilities and servicing. We have opened our doors to collect food, water, toiletries, clothing, gift cards, etc. to help accommodate fire victims' every day needs. We are working towards coordinating onsite grief and trauma counselors and offering traditional Native drumming, prayer, and healing songs.
Thank you for allowing us to help our community. Wishing everyone safety and strength...
