Yamaira García’s “Yams” Funeral & Burial Expenses

Hi, my name is Kiomara I am the eldest of three children Yamaira had. There is not enough words to describe the wonderful woman, mother, friend, and companion Yamaira was. My mom had me as a young teen, however it did not stop her from making sure she provided me and herself with the best possible life. She was very dedicated and determined to making sure her kids were always “better than her.” She spent everyday of her life taking care of me, my siblings, and her fur grandbaby. My mother lived for us. No matter what obstacle she encountered she continued to persevere. She always knew how to make it happen. Not just for herself, but for her children, her family, her friends, everyone. My mom went hard for everyone in her life. She was my only parent my entire life. Even at 22 years old my mom spent everyday making sure I ate, that I had a good day at work, that Bolt was taken for a walk and that he used the bathroom. My mom loved and cared for my siblings, Bolt, and I like no other. It is true when they say a mother’s love is different. All I will remember is how much my mom loved and lived for us.

This was genuinely a complete shock to me, my siblings, family, friends, as well as the entire community. My mom was two weeks shy away from turning 40. She was full of life. She is the light of my life. As next of kin, I am in charge of my mom’s funeral and burial arrangements and expenses. My mother did not have a life insurance policy set up or any type of funeral arrangements pre-planned. Therefore, any type of support during this would be greatly appreciated on behalf of my siblings and I. My mother was more than a great woman. She deserves nothing more than to lay at peace and to have a beautiful ceremony. I cannot begin to think of life without her for my siblings and I, but I will do everything possible to make sure she is at rest in a great manner. As my mom always said, “let me be great.”
