Yamasa: Gift of Hearing

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for visiting the Go Fund Me page for The Gift of Hearing foundation Mission to Yamasa!

We are back from our first mission to Yamasa, Dominican Republic! We had one goal in Yamasa and that was to give The Gift of Hearing. We are proud to say that we were able to surpass our goal, giving hope and opportunity to over 135 people in need of hearing aids.

As our first mission has come to an end, we have already begun to plan our next mission that will be taking place March 23rd, 2019.

HOW YOU CAN HELP!
You can make a difference. If you would like to be apart of this amazing foundation, you can donate here on our gofundme page. The amount of your donation does not matter! Any donation, big or small helps in the biggest way and we thank you in advance!

If you would rather contribute in another way, you can bring in your old hearing aids to one of our locations in Bowmanvillle or Newcastle. In doing so, we will give you a $200.00 credit for goods or services with Nu-Life.

OUR GOAL
Our current goal is to raise $20,000 for this cause by our next mission so that we can continue to give hope and bring light into the lives of these children. 

Additional funds will contribute to feeding needy families with food, supplying them with humanitarian medical kits and with the support of local doctors.

$200 will allow us to treat 1 person with the Gift of Hearing.

$365 will feed a needy family for a year.

$625 will support the purchase of a humanitarian medical kit from HPIC . Supplying basic and essential medicines for the region. 



$1,000 we will help to pay for a team of local doctors to visit, aid and treat 7 neighbouring regions (Batey’s and Barrio’s) with Canadian medicine.
