ABOUT THE TEAM
This film collaborates between MAKU Productions (a video and animation agency based in Canada) and WonderWorld Institute (An animation school in Ghana, West Africa). We are a team of passionate creators based in North America and Africa who have been producing African-inspired content. With our combined experiences in various aspects of Animation, Film, Art and Music, we bring to the table a wealth of knowledge that is well suited for the production to succeed
WHY DO WE NEED THE FUNDS
This movie is our first major project and also our first independent film. We need your support to complete this movie and promote it to the global audience. The central part of our expenses is paying our team of more than 30 staff, including animators, visual and storyboard artists, voice actors, sound engineers and legal documentation fees.
We are working day and night to complete this movie by September 2023. We plan to take the project to a larger audience as we feel it deserves a global reach due to how it richly tells the story of Africa and the representation of women in leadership.
No amount is too small; we believe this project will be a massive success with your support and donations!
