Yampil the bear - Five Sisters Zoo

Hi All,

I am helping fundraise for the Five Sisters Zoo in West Lothian.

Yampil the Asiatic black bear was rescued from Ukraine and is currently safe in a temporary enclose at the Natuurhelpcentrum in Belgium. The Five Sister Zoo in West Calder are working with Natuurhelpcentrum to bring Yampil to Scotland in 2024. He will be the only Asiatic black bear in Scotland!!

The Zoo will be creating a purpose-built habitat where can thrive!!

Family and I will be taking part in a 5k run organised by the Zoo on Saturday 21st of October to raise funds to assist with their animal rescue work.
