Hello Family and Friends

It is with great sadness and difficulty that we had to make the decision to create this go fund me.

As many of you know, Yaritza lost her life tragically on 1/11/23 on her way to work at the young age of 37 years old.

To know Yaritza was to be blessed. She was the sweetest soul, friend, mother, sister, family member and colleague anyone could ever come across.

Everyone who crossed her path came to love her and her beautiful smile.

Unfortunately, due to becoming a widow just a few short years ago and raising a teenage son, life took an unexpected turn where she faced some hard times and setbacks but she worked hard for her family and to rise above it all.

Yaritza had some benefits through work, but unfortunately, not enough to cover the rising and much unexpected cost of a funeral, burial expenses and everything that comes with leaving behind a teenage son who is only a freshman away at college chasing their dream of his education and success in life. Her son is now forced to grow up faster. He is now responsible for taking over his mother's home that she left for him, along with utility bills, maintenance, and life in general, all while mourning and attempting to heal.

We ask before anything that you pray for both families involved in this tragedy.

No one woke up yesterday expecting a tragedy of this magnitude to take place.

We ask that you please consider helping us give her a proper funeral and burial.

Beyond the funeral and burial, anything additional will be given to her son to allow him to continue playing football and attending college out of state as Yaritza would want him to do. He is merely a freshman, and the weight of the world has now been placed on his shoulders.

We all know that no one can ever love and care for our children like we do while we are alive.

However, as a community, we know that it sometimes takes a village to lend a helping hand.

No amount is too small and would be greatly appreciated.
