Would you like to join me in making a difference for people in Bangladesh who have little access to medical care?
We are raising money in aid of BANGLADESH RURAL PRIMARY HEALTH INITIATIVE (BRPHI) Gram GP Project. Your much needed donation will help provide medical care and medication for the needy.
We are looking to complete a sponsored cycle ride to help support this charity. Yasin and Abdullah have been training and will attempt the Qatar Olympic Cycling Track, which is 66KM long. Abdullah will attempt to complete 40KM within 2.5hours and Yasin 50KM within 3 hours.
In ramadan it is especially challenging due to fasting and being tired at the end of the day. The temperature is Qatar is also getting very warm now. With your support and donations it will motivate us, Yasin and Abdullah for the cause of BRPHI to complete our pledge.
We choose to support BRPHI being Bengali ourselves and our father who is a doctor is a committed member of the BRPHI charity.
About Bangladesh Rural Primary Health Initiative BRPHI.
At BRPHI we believe in the ethos, ‘’Prevention is better than cure’’ and ultimately have two key goals; to create sustainable primary health care clinics in rural Bangladesh and touch as many hearts as we can by providing free care for the poor and needy.
Our vision is as follows:
Introduce individual GP clinics across multiple rural sites in Bangladesh, with greatest unmet medical need as part of the Gram GP project.
Create a national platform for organisations to add similar clinics.
Enable clinics to link together as a satellite and in turn create a sustainable health system.
You too could be a part in making a difference to those who are disadvantaged living in Bangladesh. Every donation makes a difference, nothing is too little.
You can contribute specifically towards any of the following, as part of the Gram GP project;
£10 for a consultation with medicine.
£25 for a full health check-up for one person
£90 for 9 months of maternity care for a pregnant woman
£120 for a treatment for an adult for the whole year
£250 for treating a whole family for a year.
