Yasmin "Ira" Haque's Cancer Treatment

Expecting good news after surgery and treatment to stop uterine cancer in its tracks, Yasmin Ira and Iqbal were shattered to learn the cancer had reached stage 3. The cancer used the lymph nodes to spread. The plan is 6 rounds of chemo total, one every three weeks. A month after the 6 rounds of chemo are completed, she will begin 25 days of radiation.

While hope feels sparse as she prepares for her first round of chemo (2/2/23), Yasmin Ira's loved ones know she has a community across the world to help her through this.

The Diagnosis Timeline

Nov 15th, 2022- GYN determined she needed a biopsy

Nov 23th, 2022- Uterine cancer diagnosis

January 3rd, 2022- Uterus, ovary, lymph nodes were removed

January 18th, 2022- But the cancer had reached the lymph nodes, reaching stage 3
