I hope this message finds you in good health and spirits. I am currently residing in Norway and have initiated this campaign with the assistance for my friend, Yasmin, who is presently living in Gaza Strip. The donations collected through this campaign will be directly transferred from my bank account to his in order to support her.
I just want to clarify something about the Norwegian currency. The Norwegian currency donation is 11 Norwegian krone for one dollar.
Yasmin story :
Hi, I'm Yasmin , a 27-year-old from Gaza, where we're living a difficult war.
I hesitated a lot before sharing my story, feeling hopeless about the situation in my city, and even feeling embarrassed to share my story. But now, it is urgent that I leave Gaza for medical treatment in Egypt. Before the war started, I was in the process of being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, a disease that causes me pain in my eyes, dizziness, and can progress to make it hard or even impossible to walk. The disease is already difficult enough without the added stress of the war in Gaza. It is impossible to get treated for this in Gaza, where our health system is rundown after the bombing. I am raising the funds to arrange my transfer into Egypt, where I can pursue medical treatment.
In these tough times, I'm turning to you with the hope that your kindness could change my life.
Due to the current war on Gaza, the situation has gone drastically bad. my family is facing challenges that are pushing us to our limits, and we're reaching out, hoping for a glimmer of relief.
We've been forced to leave our home in Nuseirat due to heavy bombings in the area. It was a terrifying experience, with debris falling all around us. I'll never forget the black smoke filling the air, making it hard to breathe.
We walked to Deir al-Balah, exhausted and scared, with our children and a few bags on our shoulders. We had to wait in the streets all day, surrounded by gunfire, until we found a car to take us to safety.
We moved to Rafah, where conditions are unbearable. Life there lacks basic necessities like clean water and unaffordable food. The constant rain makes living in tents even harder.
- On top of everything, I suffer from severe eye pain due to cooking over open fires and the smoke getting into my eyes. I rely on painkillers because I can't find medicine in the pharmacies. My medical tests were incomplete before the war, and now I've been diagnosed with a condition called MS, which requires treatment outside of Gaza.
I occasionally experience dizziness, along with severe eye pain. I urgently need to go to Egypt for medical tests and treatment.
The health situation is dilapidated. This hospital where I go to for my health condition does not even have a neurologist.
Here's how the funds will be spent:
To escape this nightmare, I need $5,000 for myself and my companion to cross the Egyptian border. The Egyptian border fees amount to $10,000 for both of us. Additionally, the cost of medical treatment and tests is approximately $2,000.
Your help could change everything for me. Your donation wouldn't just be money; it would be a lifeline, giving me a chance to receive the medical care I urgently need.
This is my last option, and there is nothing other than this that I can do, to treatment.
The situation in Gaza strip has worsened beyond belief, and her health in deterioration. she is living in constant fear of violence and destruction.
I am fighting to survive from the symptoms of the illness in these cruel conditions and fighting the war of genocide here in Gaza.
Thank you to all the donors who want to help me and save my health, I appreciate all of this.
