YAW ADDAE'S FUND

It is with great sadness and disbelief to announce that our family lost a beloved son, brother, husband and father, Yaw Addae while attempting to save his 8-year-old son Lucas from drowning. Tragically, we also lost Lucas.

Yaw was a hard-working man, a dedicated father, a loving husband, and a loyal friend. He is survived by his wife Christiana, their youngest son, extended family and friends.

Yaw’s pride and joy were his sons and wife, and he showed that even in his final moments. An extremely caring man, Yaw devoted himself to his children, his wife, and his community. His focus was always on his family, and he wanted nothing more than to see his boys grow up and succeed in school and life.

We're grateful for the outpouring of love we've received thus far and have created this fundraiser in the hopes of further helping them navigate this new reality. Any donation in Yaw and Lucas' memory to what they most cared about is one of the best ways we can think to honor their memories.
