Yazan's Family Group

My name is Yazan Al Doumani, and I am reaching out to you as the coordinator of a sponsorship group dedicated to helping resettle refugees in the United States.

Recently, there has been a significant development as the U.S. government has granted approval for five Americans to form a sponsorship group and support refugees known to them from outside the United States. This opportunity has presented itself as a chance for me to sponsor my family's relocation to the U.S. and reunite with them, a prospect that means the world to me.

Currently, my mother and three unmarried siblings reside in Jordan, patiently awaiting their turn for legal entry into the United States. We initiated the application process in 2013, and despite the passage of time, we have yet to receive any updates from the immigration authorities. The Welcome Corp program appears to be a promising avenue for their resettlement, offering a beacon of hope for our family to reunite.

Regrettably, my personal circumstances have been challenging, marked by health problems and a sense of isolation. Having no family members on my side, the prospect of reuniting with my loved ones is not only emotionally uplifting but also crucial for my well-being.
