Yazie’s Cancer Fight & Her Children
Donation protected

Hi my name is Jamie and I’m the mother of Yazie
who diagnosed with Epithelioid Sarcoma of her right foot in 2015. She under went treatment and was cancer free up until the last 3 years with speculation that the cancer had returned because a small open wound appeared on top of her right foot. We started Woundcare and lymphedema treatment to minimize the swelling and help move the fluid. Things were going really well with the treatment plan provided, but somehow with her last pregnancy things took an unexpected turn.
Her wound tissue started to break down at a rapid rate causing severe pain, and leaving her unable to place pressure on that right foot. Our next step would be to place her in a wheelchair so that she would not obtain any pressure ulcers.
During this past year her lungs have collapsed 3 times she underwent a pleurodesis surgery, Emergency C-Section, and Emergency Craniotomy for a peach sized mass in the back of her head which impaired her peripheral vision on her left side of her face. It had been confirmed that the Cancer has now metastasized to her brain. Yazie has fought so hard through all these challenges with such bravery.
Now into the New Year a Pet Scan and MRI confirmed again our worst fear's her Cancer has spread to multiple places throughout her body.
Her Oncologist recommended she undergo 10 rounds of radiation to the brain and start Tazverik 200 mg oral Chemo tablets after radiation was complete. All ten treatments were completed, but not with ease let me tell you. I don’t want to go into all the behind the scenes we encountered it’s too painful. Just know we fought hard through everything and are still fighting.
Unfortunately we have encountered yet another medical emergency, my daughter was given pain medication and went into Cardiac Arrest and now has been medically sedated on a vent with her lungs functioning at 70%. Through all this we continue to trust God as he has the last and final say so.
My daughter has always been a private person and this has lead me to remain quiet and take on all the responsibilities as we navigated through all this. I’ve had to stop working to care for her and her four children, as you know has put me in a financial strain. Thanks mentors, church, and close friends and family that have helped support in many ways, with bills, medical supplies, food, gas, toys, diaper wipes, medication, etc. I’m forever grateful and thankful for all of you.
So as we enter this next point of uncertainty and solely relying on God to deliver us out of this nightmare. That by the Grace of God that all her vital organs will regain all its normal functions, and that the Cancer will resolve. There is no job to hard for our GOD!!!
Any monetary donations are greatly appreciated. As I continue to support and care for my daughter and her four of her children as I’m unable to work at this time. I want to be able to continue to provide all necessities that they will need now and for the future.
Thank You to each and everyone of you!
