Let’s help Dex You’ve got this Buddy

Hi my name is Jodi , I’m doing this go fund me to help a friend that is very close to my heart , a mother that is going through an extremely emotional challenging time that no mother should have to go through , here’s a little bit from her that she wrote to me in a message , it’s raw, it’s heartbreaking , it’s honest , and my heart is breaking for what she and her family are going through …they are from mount gambier SA and have to stay in Victoria for 7 months so far

Well Dexter is in end stage heart failure. He requires a heart transplant. Even though we have been here over 7 months he has never been well enough to survive that surgery. We have had ALOT of complications. Due to some of those complications we now are also in acute kidney failure. Meaning Dexter is now in multiple organ failure and will require a double transplant ( the first of its kind in a child in australia)

I actually think dexters medical issues in them self are deserving enough of a helping hand let alone going into the fact my business had to close a few months into opening due to me needing to be here for my son.

Biggest struggle is being away from the other kids. Wondering how you’re gonna pay bills with no income. Now securing a house to rent for when we can finally come home ( even tho that's at least 4 months away if all goes well)
