We are Sosha Young and Ricky Ybarra, 2 musicians recovering from unexpected adversity at our job and home sites in the past 24 months.
In 2022, we were victims of a labor theft scam while working as chef/caterers and caretakers in Pulga. Fast forward to 2023, and we're recovering from another landlord labor scam, enduring hazardous conditions and an uninhabitable home that took a toll on Sosha's health.
Forced to leave in July 2023, we're currently navigating legal battles and freelancing to cover medical expenses and debts. The gig economy offers no safety net, leaving us in a precarious situation.
