Donation protected
George Meadows passed away Friday, April 21 after a long and courageous battle with prostate cancer, his beloved wife Lisa Meadows was by his side.
George was born and raised in Southern California, he was an avid golfer, a lover of live music and dancing. George was an arborist and worked in landscape design for 25 years and ended his career in construction management as Vice President of Operations for Nu/Age Development, Inc.
On behalf of Lisa, we are asking for donations to help cover the cost of George's memorial service, a gathering afterward, and Lisa's wish to purchase a memorial bench with plaque to be placed somewhere they both enjoyed visiting near their home in Huntington Beach.
This will be a special place for all who knew and loved George to visit, reflect, and remember our friend. It will also be a place for Lisa, in particular, to take their dogs, Henley and Fletcher, to sit and remember the great love of her life.
Your generous donation will also help with any unforeseen medical costs and provide comfort and stability as Lisa moves forward on her journey.
Lisa is grateful for all the love and support during this time of deep sorrow and we hope you will please consider donating, as any amount will truly help.
Services will be held on Tuesday, May 9 at Mariners Church (in the chapel) at 10:00 am:
5001 Newport Coast Dr.
Irvine, CA 92603
Reception to follow.
With love and gratitude,
