It is with deep sorrow in our hearts that we mourn the loss of members of the Garza family.
Stephanie, 39; and three of the Garza children: Taylor, 18; P.J., 14; and Jesse, 11, died on Sunday, June 28, 2015.
On route for a family vacation, their vehicle blew a tire and rolled several times near Fort Stockton, TX.
Pete, 38, and Sami, 6, survived the accident and live to grieve the loss of their wife and mother, and children and siblings.
Stephanie was a devoted mother and wife, who expressed kindness, love and friendship to everyone she met. A talented seamstress, her creations were beautiful and one-of-a-kind as she.
Taylor recently graduated from Franklin High School and is described as a loving older sister and friend - who set the tone with humor and playfulness towards everyone, especially her siblings.
P.J. had just completed 8th grade at Lincoln Middle School and was high school bound. He was often described by his mother as a "gentle giant" whose lively and sweet demeanor illuminated a room.
Jesse also had completed a milestone - elementary school. He is described by his teachers at Mitzi Bond as a kind and sweet little boy, and as a proud big brother to Sami - as he protected and cared for her.
This fund has been established to offset some of the costs for funeral and medical expenses, and to honor the memory of Stephanie, Taylor, P.J., and Jesse.
Pete, Sami and the Fisk and Garza families sincerely thank everyone for the generous outpouring of love and kindness expressed to them during this very difficult time.
Stephanie, Taylor, P.J., and Jesse: you are guiding lights in our lives, especially in the lives of your husband, daughter, father and sister. We hope to illuminate your kindness and love to those we meet. We have been eternally blessed to have had you in our lives.
