Kelley's Fight Against Cancer

Hi, I am writing this on behalf of my dear friend and colleague Kelley Andrews-Klein. Kelley is a strong and supportive woman, mother, wife, friend, daughter, teacher, colleague, and teammate who has begun the fight of her life and who needs a little additional support to ease the financial strain that such a fight requires.

Some of you may know that on the morning of November 27th, Kelley received a call that she will never forget. Kelley was diagnosed with an agressive form of Metaplastic breast cancer. Upon her diagnoses, her oncology team here and in Alberta put together a comprehensive and extensive treatment plan that would see her needing to attend various appointments in Alberta, as well as weekly chemotherapy treatments here in Yellowknife, upcoming surgery, radiation and possibly more chemotherapy over what they expect to be at least a year or more.

Kelley, her husband Joey and their son Grayson are grateful and fortunate to have family and friends supporting them, however, the additional health expenses and travel for Kelley's family is becoming extremely costly and an added stress that they do not need during this extremely difficult time.

Kelley is a generous and giving person who is very humble and only asks for help when it is truly needed. Please help us help her through this fight.
