Flooding in Balochistan, Pakistan
Donation protected
Many of you know and love Maryam, who we have the privilege of calling one of our bonus daughters. She was an exchange student with us in 2018/19 and she is asking for some help.
Her village and many others have been devastated by flooding in Balochistan, Pakistan. This is one of the poorest districts of Pakistan, with the average income of less than $50 per month. Over 1000 people in her immediate area are homeless, displaced and without food, and are completely surrounded by water. There are hundreds more coming their way for shelter, and they need your help. At the moment, they have one route of access left and need help getting emergency supplies before that route gets flooded as well. Her community needs help buying tents, ration, and medicine.
Donating $16 will cover their monthly ration
Donating $55 will cover one tent
Donating $70 will cover ration and a tent for one family
Her family will receive the money through a beneficiary in the states, Faizaan, who is close friends with Maryam's uncle. He will then receive the funds, which will go straight to the efforts of Maryam and her family to support and build for the people in Balochistan. We are so thankful for each of you!
