URGENT: Help my family evacuate from Gaza

Dear family and friends,

I hope this message reaches you well.

My name is Reem and I’m a Palestinian living in Canada. I work as a hairdresser and live with my husband and 2 children. It is with a heavy heart that I am reaching out for financial assistance to evacuate my family in Gaza, who have been displaced with their children after having their homes destroyed. Like many others, we have also tragically lost 4 precious members of our family due to the airstrikes, including 2 young children.

As I am a Canadian citizen, I have the opportunity to rescue my 3 brothers, along with their wives and young children, to provide them with a safe refuge in Canada and give the children another opportunity in life. Although their hearts are very much attached to Gaza, the situation there is becoming increasingly dire, and they are struggling to find the essential needs of daily life. Furthermore, the destruction of vital infrastructure such as schools and hospitals, along with the constant bombing, puts their lives at risk every day. Our primary concern is the safety and future of their children, who like everyone else, deserve a life free from the constant fear and insecurity that currently defines their daily existence.

To facilitate the evacuation of my family to Canada, I have initiated this fundraising campaign intending to secure the necessary funds as outlined below. Unfortunately, this will come at a great cost- one that we could not afford without any help. We have already put together our life savings towards this, but we still need further support.
