Help Us Evacuate Our Families from Gaza

Donation protected
In 2021, Bayan and Nawal were still in Gaza, and separately, they were looking for an opportunity for a safe life outside Gaza after surviving four different horrific Israeli aggressions on Gaza between 2008 and 2021. In 2022, Bayan got a scholarship to study in Dundee (Scotland, UK), and later, Nawal did as well. Destiny allowed these two surviving souls to meet in Dundee, and a new love story started. A week after their marriage, the 7th of October events began, and their dream of a new, calm, safe life was quickly ruined.

Bayan & Nawal

We are Bayan Alhasani and Nawal Abusultan, and we are launching this funding campaign as our last choice to save our families' lives and evacuate them from Gaza.
Our family members are Bayan's parents, five siblings, Nawal's mom, her nephew, and his wife. These ten people have been starved, dehydrated, and displaced many times from place to place, escaping from continuous bombing and trying to find a safe place in Gaza, but there is no safe place there.

About our families:
Bayan's family suffered a lot before this aggression. Their home was destroyed by the Israeli bombing during the 2014 aggression. But they did not give up and worked hard to rebuild their life again. In the last few years, Bayan and his brother found their way outside Gaza to look for better future opportunities. His sister, Saja, finished her bachelor's degree with distinction, and Sujood, his younger sister, was one of the top-rated students at the university. His younger siblings have now lost any opportunity to study in schools and universities because everything has been destroyed.

Nawal's mom was a lovable teacher for about 30 years before retirement. Her nephew is a talented software developer who cannot now continue his studies because of the situation and because the Israeli attacks destroyed the university where he used to study.

Our families experienced a lot of horrific bombings and miraculously survived many times. We lost a lot of relatives and friends in Gaza, and we do not know who will be the next one. Bayan's family house was destroyed again during this aggression. So, we are trying to save their lives before it's too late.
The complex situation is also worsening due to the lack of medical services. Bayan's dad needs special medical treatment for his backbone, and that is not available in these horrific circumstances. His sister, Saja, needs surgery on her eyes, and this is not available at this time as well.

Bayan and Nawal are suffering a lot from this situation. They are living the fear of loss and cannot live their normal life. Bayan just started his PhD last September and could not be productive. The situation becomes worse and worse, and people in Gaza not only die because of the attacks but also because of starvation, dehydration, diseases, and the diminishing of medical services. It does not look like this situation will end in the short term, so we need your help.

The current state in Gaza is filled with uncertainty, fear, and peril. Your support holds immense value for our families and us. We assure you that if the aggression ceases or evacuation proves impractical for any or all family members, your contributions will be dedicated to ensuring our families can lead dignified lives.
Kindly contribute to and spread the word about the campaign within your network. Every small contribution means a lot. We are profoundly grateful for your extended support; words cannot adequately convey our appreciation. Regular updates on our families' situation will be provided on this site.

Thank you,
Bayan & Nawal
