Family in need

Donation protected
Hi friends and family,

Over the past 4/5 months I have come to believe that this cliche saying everyone always tells you about God not giving you more than you can handle, is unequivocally wrong. God absolutely gives you more than you can handle, because if you could handle it all by yourself then you wouldn't have to rely solely on him.
Our family has been hit with a series of unfortunate events that has brought us to our knees before him, and I feel like I need to just humble myself and ask for help. I know that we have lots of friends and family if they knew what we were going through and how to help that they would be willing to. So I feel like this was a way to mass inform everyone of our situation and to have a place for people to help us.

At the end of summer due to circumstances outside of my control my hours were dramatically and suddenly cut from 45/50 hrs a week to 7. I searched for a new job and was hired but the whole onboarding process took a lot of time, I was finally able to start working mid October. My 3rd night on the job Travis called me in the middle of my shift and told me he had to go to the hospital, and if you know Travis he never wants to go to hospital I usually have to force him in the car. So I knew that he must be really bad. I rushed home to stay with kids and he went to hospital. He was admitted that night much to our surprise with pneumonia and heart failure, his ejection fraction was 10%, he was in the hospital for a week they ran every test under the sun but cant figure out whats wrong. They have him on a bunch of different medication and sent him home with a wearable defibrillator that he has to keep on 24/7. They still have no clue what's going on with him they're still doing testing and lots of outpatient appointments. He is still in good spirits through this all, I love that about him, but for the most part he's just been very tired and sleeping.
Back tracking to the week of him being in the hospital, on halloween morning I woke up and my knee had swollen up to twice its size, I couldn't remember falling or anything and was trying to just to keep it together to take care of the kids and was trying to figure out something small for Zachariahs birthday the next day. Tried my best for zach to have a good birthday on Nov 1 but I was really starting to limp, friday morning it just kept getting worse so I too went to hospital. They took xrays and said nothing was broken told me to keep my leg in immobilizer and to follow up with ortho. Following week I was pretty much just sleeping in bed if I wasn't dropping or picking the kids up from school. That Wednesday ortho drain 200ml from my knee and sent for testing, doctor thought it was lymes but fluid test came back negative. My knee started swelling immediately back up after draining, had to go back in the following Wednesday to drain again and get a steroid shot in it. This time he sent me also for blood work. The blood work did come back positive for lymes. He started me on antibiotics, I am starting to feel a little better, I've been back to work for two nights now but my knees are swelling up so much being on my feet all night. Im breaking down but I keep telling myslef I have to just push through this because I'm already months behind on everything.
My mom and dad have been helping me the best they can but I can't just keep going to them and putting this burden on them. That's when I thought if I maybe reached out and everyone could just pitch in help us a little bit then we would be more than okay.
Like I said I did start working again, but because of how fast time is flying I won't even have one full paycheck before Christmas and I literally have nothing put away for the kids. All of this is so overwhelming, but I trust it will all work out.
We will be so grateful for any help you can offer, even if its not monetary and only prayer, we will still be thankful.
I know some people aren't comfortable donating online so I put together a little amazon registry for Christmas gifts for the kids that would help too, and it doesn't have to be something from the list it could be whatever, but you can search it on Amazon registry under Allison Perry and it should come up.
We love and thank you so much in advance to help us get through this tough season and the kids will be so happy Christmas morning.
