Brandon and Emily Zinn

On 1/19/19, Brandon Zinn was hit (plowed into at excessive speed) by a drunk driver as he was stopped at a stoplight on his motorcycle. The impact threw him and his bike across the intersection and also immediately took off the lower part of his left leg. It is only by the grace of God that he did not bleed out at the accident site, as he was not even found right away in the early morning darkness.
He underwent trauma surgery to address the first major issues, such as removing his damages spleen and cleaning up the open wound at the amputation site. He needs to undergo more surgeries, including one this morning to try and fix the multiple fractures in his legs.
Brandon was on his way to firefighter training at the time of the accident. He was 3 weeks from graduating Firefighter school, to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a firefighter. He was heartbroken when he learned that he had been hit by a drunk driver and will likely never be able to live out that dream. It is all he has every wanted to do.
Not only is Brandon not going to be able to work for a long time, but this is seriously impacting Emily Zinn's ability to run her Cockapoo breeding business at Sugar and Spice Cockapoos. We are hopeful that the drunk driver's insurance company will cover medical bills, as Brandon was doing everything right at the time of the accident.
The purpose of this gofundme is to give Emily operating funds to care for 6 month old Charlie and household expenses while Brandon is recovering. I’m starting this with roughly 2 months of lost income.
We are believing God for miraculous healing and a speedy recovery. Prayers are greatly appreciated. Thank You!
