Please help my friend's mum!

Hi, my name is Rebecca and I am starting this appeal on behalf of a dear friend of mine and his family.

Sadly his mum, Margaret, is terminally ill with cancer. As a family they are faced with huge care bills for overnight care for their mum. Unfortunately due to NHS care shortages the two nights a week support that they got for Margaret has been taken away from them.

While they all understand that the NHS is under pressure, they are now looking at bills of over £1400 for four nights care – a situation that is just not affordable. They are doing their best to take care of their mum but this is affecting their own health and wellbeing, as well as their ability to do their jobs.

Helping out with the costs of Margaret’s care will mean that my friend and his family can spend the precious time they have left making those all important, lasting memories. Having lost my own mum to cancer I know how important this time is.
