Let’s get Bray to Spain!

Hello to all our family & friends, near and far!!
My son, Braydin Dane Chambers, has been invited to represent the USA as a pitcher in the Perfect Game International tournament in Barcelona, Spain!!
Hearing the news from his Coach stunned me. I had no words. Just a slew of mind racing thoughts ranging from disbelief and doubt, to joy and gratitude.
Baseball has been Brays passion for many years. He started this journey when he was 9, and it wasn’t too long after that we started noticing a natural ability. Braydin became enthralled with baseball, and the possibility of making it to the Big League someday. It’s been an honor to watch him grow up & level up within the sport.
I would be remiss not to mention some amazing men that have helped mold Braydin into the young man he’s still morphing into today. Coach’s Russ Kober, Kevin Schiedeck and Joshua Locke were Brays first Coaches. They instilled the fun & joy within the sport, along with the dedication & pride in doing well for his teammates, and himself. As Bray transitions from middle school to high school, he’s on Coach Johnny Neito’s Allstar travel team. He also has Coach Garrett Freeze, and his pitching Coach Matthew Brown in his corner. These 3 coaches are making a huge impact with Brays focus and drive. No doubt, Bray is being coaches by some exceptionally talented Coaches.
The opportunity to represent USA as a pitcher is incredibly humbling for Braydin. When I broke the news to him, he was as stunned and speechless as me. Then, that big ‘ol smile started to shine & all he could say is, “No way!! Are you serious!?? This is HUGE Mom!!”
When an opportunity presents itself like this, there is NO WAY I’ll let it pass by. It’s a once in a lifetime chance for him at this age! How could I not find a solution!? At first. my limiting beliefs said it wasn’t possible. The deadline to pay is August 12th. Then, talking with Bray’s Nana Pam and Auntie Koree, they so eloquently reminded me that I am a WLS grad, and I make things happen!! So, here I am, humbly asking for support to make my kids dreams seem a wee bit closer. The funds we raise will pay for the entry fee, the airfare to and from Barcelona, assist with gear, and further training to continue his journey to the Big League.
We are blessed to be given this opportunity, and Braydin is beyond ecstatic to show the world his talents!
