Yeet the Teet - Gabe's Top Surgery Fund
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Gabe (they/them). I first realized I was trans in 2014 when I was 15. The first binder I wore was a friend's in 2015, which completely changed me. In that moment, I knew I wanted top surgery. In February of 2016, I moved from my hometown Niteroi, RJ, in Brazil to Fort Collins, CO.
Trying to adjust to a new culture and language, I ignored my identity for a long time. With therapy, I reconnected with myself. I bought my first binder in 2019, and I was binding pretty constantly until 2020 when I started my career as a Barber. Because of my job and my back/shoulder pain and issues, I am not able to bind anymore for more than 4 hours straight. Because of that, my gender dysphoria is constantly at a rough level.
I have been saving money for a few years now, but with moving to Florida and supporting myself financially, it has been a battle to constantly save money for my top surgery.
Getting this procedure done means finally feeling comfortable in my own skin and incredibly improving my day-to-day life.
Why is my goal $15,000? The surgeon I want to go to charges approximately $9500+. This procedure will require me to stay away from work for about 2 months, if not more and the cost of rent for two months will be about $2,700. the other $2,300 will go towards groceries, medications, and products for recovery. If by chance there is money left from my fundraiser, it will be donated to my fellow trans friends.

Thank you for caring :)
