All I want for my birthday is a new birthday suit.

Joking aside this is super important to me.

This past year has been a challenge and it would mean the world to me if I was able to have my top surgery done by the next RHPS season.

It took me years after realizing I was trans to finally come out in my personal life.

(And I feel as if gender affirmation surgery will help give me the courage to come out in my professional one.)

Gender identity assigned at birth for me was a lot like the default internet browser that came with your windows computer.

Not what I would have chosen for myself.

(Internet Explorer, I hardly know her. There will probably be at least one more terrible pun by the end of this rambling.)

I hesitated with top surgery for a long time because of lots of reasons that weren't related to what I really wanted for myself.

Now I'm finally ready and I'm releasing my pride and asking for help.

The deposit for booking the surgery is $3,000 and is necessary for being put on the wait-list and whatever is left can be paid in installments.

Total cost for the top surgery is $11,500 and torso masculinization is an additional $3,000. A total of $14,500 not including travel costs and stay.

I would love to raise more than $3,000 but I know times are tough on everyone.

My sister is accepting responsibility as my beneficiary and is receiving the funds on my behalf because of errors I made in setting up this fundraiser. She has been my biggest supporter and I would not have made it here without her.

I know this will help me become a healthier and happier person.

The person I was always meant to be.
