Hello everyone, my name is Coach Vidahl with the 2027 Yellow Jackets As you may know, we were founded in 2022 by a couple of Poinciana natives who grew up involved in the travel ball scene. We noticed our community was lacking a competitive travel basketball organization. So with our dedication, years of knowledge of the game and our own money and leisure we created a team for the youth. We are a volunteer-run, nonprofit organization that operates year-round to help area kids play sports here locally and compete around the state.
For as long as I could remember Poinciana has been pretty solid at producing outstanding athletes. The worst part is they don’t play for teams here in Poinciana! Our goal is to put a change to all of that.
Therefore, we are currently seeking sponsorships and donations to help us reach our goal of $7,000 that will help assist us in furthering the youth of poinciana by helping with the cost of tournament fees, gym fees, travel cost, uniforms and basic equipment. Having this additional set of resources to add to our program will boost our team skills, motivate student-athletes to look forward to being part of the basketball program, and carry on the pride.
