My name is Zaki, and I am the Founder of the A ishah Mavis Foundation.

As Ramadan approaches, we extend an invitation to all those willing to contribute towards alleviating the dire circumstances faced by the Yemeni people. Together, through urgent aid provisions, we can significantly impact the lives of individuals and families in Yemen.

Ramadan, a month of blessings and reflection, prompts us to unite in strengthening our faith and extending a helping hand to those in need. Amidst this sacred time, we urge you to keep in mind the 20 million Yemenis who urgently require humanitarian aid. Let us follow the noble example of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) by striving to assist others.

This year, we present a simple call to action: PRAY and GIVE. Together, let us pray for the families of Yemen, enduring the largest humanitarian crisis in a century. And together, let us give, providing food packs, Eid gifts, and hope.

FOOD PACKS

During this Ramadan, we aim to distribute food parcels comprising essential items to feed families of five. These parcels enable families to prepare for Ramadan, easing concerns about accessing food to break their fasts.

Yemen faces unprecedented levels of food insecurity. By disseminating locally-sourced, nutritious food parcels, we combat hunger and malnutrition, enabling families to fulfill their religious obligations.

EID GIFTS AND FITRANA

With the ongoing economic crisis exacerbating conditions, an increasing number of Yemeni children lack basic necessities such as clothing, food, education, and healthcare. These essentials are fundamental to a happy childhood, yet their absence plunges children deeper into hardship and despair.

This year, we plan to provide multi-purpose cash grants to families with vulnerable children and caregivers of orphans. These grants will assist in purchasing Eid items and other essentials. Additionally, we will distribute Fitrana cash assistance to individuals in Yemen before Eid, by the will of Allah.
