Felix’s Top Surgery

My name is Felix. I’ve been binding for 10 years now, on HRT for 8 months and it is time to get this off my chest.

Anything above, beyond, or unused I’ll be donating to another trans person’s journey. I wouldn’t feel right holding onto any of it.

People who know me know my biggest dysphoria is my chest and has been since I was a teen and (the incorrect) puberty started. I’m just wanting to get to where I feel comfortable in shirts. I want to go out and not constantly worry or cross my arms over myself, just in case.

I have an extremely active job and between not being able to move the way I need, the years of pressure on my ribs, and the fact I get stuck in my binder for longer than is recommended, it’s past time.

I’m currently fighting insurance to cover even a little, and will adjust price as that goes on, but due to the nature of my job I’ll also be without work during recovery and I’m trying to factor that in as well.
