Jessie's Cancer Battle

Dear Friends and Family,
On November 9th, Jessie (Yesenia Gomez Barba) received devastating news that once again she would be fighting against a cancerous brain tumor.
Jessie was first diagnosed with brain cancer in 2008; after battling through multiple treatments the cancer began to remise. She underwent an invasive brain surgery in 2010 with doctors confident that about ¾ of the cancer was removed. After 6 years, she developed yet another tumor, which has now merged with the last one. The news of the tumor has been devastating and has brought emotional and financial hardship to her family. As a wife and mother of two young boys, she is fighting to remain strong and positive in this time of misfortune. Jessie has always had a wonderful and uplifting spirit. She is a woman of faith whose relationship with God has blossomed as she’s been faced with these challenges. As one can imagine the obstacles faced when a family is struck with such news, numerous doctor visits and treatments accumulate causing Jessie and her husband to miss a significant amount of time at work. Above all their financial struggles, her and her husband continue to look for positivity and strengths from all that surround them. In hopes to support her and her family we have created a gofundme account to assist with medical cost and reduce the amount of stress for Jessie.
