Yeshe's Healing Journey... (Round 2)

Donation protected
This is a fundraiser for Yeshe as he recently learnt he has a relapse of his lymphoma via the discovery of a tumor in his upper right hand jaw/sinus.

In the same positive spirit as the last round Yeshe is diving deep into utilising the best available treatments, which are currently working wonders. He fortunately has the support of Lyn throughout this process as it is very time intensive and requires constant work and preparation throughout the day.

This situation has limited their income whilst also increasing their expenses (by $600 per week) in order to pay for the necessary treatments, appointments and supplements etc. This gofundme has been created so all those who know and love him can provide some financial support if they are willing and able (any amount is welcome, it all adds up!).

Here is a message from Yeshe...

An update of my healing journey:

Most of you probably know that about 4 years ago I was diagnosed with “diffuse large B-cell lymphoma” after going through a “pericardial effusion”. That time I opted for 9 cycles of chemo, 6 spinal taps etc… spending about 9 months in and out of hospital, while also supplementing the treatment with a radical change in my diet as well as other alternative treatments, made possible via very generous donations from many kind and caring friends.

I feel deep gratitude to all of you for all your help and loving support as I feel I wouldn’t have been able to do it without you. We were successful in achieving remission in the end and I started a long journey of recovery from a very strong chemo treatment.

Just recently, via what looked like a gum infection in my mouth in the beginning, I had a biopsy and found out that the same lymphoma had relapsed in the form a tumor in my right sinus cavity. From there things started moving very fast, like appointments with the hematologist etc., next thing I was booked in for another few rounds of chemo (a lot stronger than the last ones because of the relapse), starting in just a few days and to be followed by stem cell therapy. The stated success rate this time was 50% (last time it was 70%).

The next day at home I started digesting all the information I had been given in a 15 minute appointment the previous day and also had a good read of the paperwork, list of side effects of the new chemo drugs etc, did a lot more research and then basically started questioning the rushed decision that I made the day before. I also felt that in the 4 years since the treatment, I still had not even recovered to even 40-50% of my previous energy levels. I was still not able to physically work passed an hour at a time, was put in the basket of “chronic fatigue syndrome” and going back to performing /touring was totally out of the question!

Anyway, trying to keep a long and multi-level story short, I re-evaluated my situation and decided that the chemo option this time didn’t seem like a good plan A, but could maybe later down the track, if all else fails, a plan B option. I now opted for a plan A that worked for an acquaintance with the same condition (even at stage 4, I am still at stage 1), she was 70 at the time and now 9 years later still feels healthy and energetic, and is still completely clear of cancer. I have been on the new plan A (radical detox diet/several alternative therapies/exercise etc, too much to go into detail right now) for over 2 months and feel great and very confident so far.

As I did last time, I am beyond blessed to have Lyn standing by my side, who is there supporting my healing journey 150%. We both believe in this treatment plan 100% and have already had great promising blood results yesterday. As this is quite an involved schedule and a long journey,

Much love, Yeshe

For those who are curious the central treatment involves a rigorous timetable utilising bio available sulforaphane and is being overseen by an experienced therapist.
