Care for Kim

Kim, unfortunately, suffered significant chemical burns due to an accident involving an acid spill in her middle school science classroom. The incident required her air transport from Santa Barbara to an LA area burn center for initial care that is purposed to include multiple surgeries over a couple weeks.
Kim has loved being a middle school science teacher in Santa Barbara for the past four years. She’s made amazing friends in her coworkers and even met her husband, Chris, there. They were married in late March of this year and looking forward to a honeymoon over their summer break.
The family would like you to know they are appreciative of any donations that may be made available and all offerings will be directed to help us with our daily costs while we take time from work during Kim’s recovery.
While she is focused on getting through this experience, Kim would like you to know that she’s keeping a high spirit and is so thankful for all of the concern and support she has and continues to receive.
