Support Hannah’s Recovery

On Saturday, August 5th, Carolyn and Mike Ralph faced the unthinkable and got an emergency alert that their daughter, Hannah (21) was in a freak accident while driving. Hannah suffered life-threatening injuries including multiple breaks to her neck, pelvis, legs, and arms, lacerations to her face, fractures to her nose and orbital bones. She was taken to Markdale Hospital & then air-lifted to Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, where she is undergoing multiple surgeries.

They are keeping her sedated for now to give her body time to heal. At this time we don’t know the full picture. She is still intubated and on life-support. The road to recovery will be long and is uncharted. Currently, the doctors are working hard for a full recovery for Hannah. With time and support, we hope she will be able to walk again.

This incredible girl has been putting in the time & work making leaps towards a promising music career. Hannah is an outstanding young woman who has a long journey ahead. She’s a wonderful daughter, big sister, musician, and friend. She is strong-willed and is definitely a fighter. We are looking forward to hearing her play her ukelele again.

She is one of the toughest people we know and will surely give her everything to overcome the challenges faced along this road. We will provide updates as they come available. She will most likely need extensive physiotherapy, occupational therapy, mobility devices and services, and potential home supports such as an accessibility ramp. Hannah’s family has asked that you send her all of your positivity, thoughts and prayers. It all matters in this moment. Please help us to support Hannah however you are able.
