Jody's Cancer Treatment Fund

As some of you have heard, Dad has recently been diagnosed with Large B cell Lymphoma. He developed pain around his right lung in early September and CT scans revealed masses on his lung, kidney and lymph nodes.
He stated on the camp's facebook page that "God sometimes uses challenging directions to take us to new places and people on the journey. This promises to be a very interesting path. Because I am not a good candidate for traditional chemotherapy, preparations are being made for alternative therapies. I will share more as plans move ahead. We would appreciate your prayer for God's leading in all these decisions. -Jody"

Although he is not a good candidate for traditional chemotherapy, it has been recommended to begin treatment as soon as possible. He is hoping to begin an alternative treatment program at the Hope4Cancer Institute within the next few weeks.

Unfortunately, expenses are not covered by his healthcare insurance. The core cost of this alternative treatment is $30,000 for the 3 week treatment. Because his scans reveal the cancer has metastasized, there may be additional treatments needed once he gets to the clinic. As always, healing is in God’s hands and we are confident in all outcomes. Please pray for decisions and healing. We set this page up for him because some family and friends have asked if they can help and what our first goal is.
