Yeti Update! This week he was adopted by an incredible home. He has settled right in to his new home. His blood work has all remained normal, and his wounds are healing up quickly. Thank you everyone for fund raising for this little guy to get a shot a life. This will be our last update on his go fund me page.

11/24/23 UPDATE:
Yeti continues to grow stinger everyday and is now using his left front leg normally. His wounds are continuing to heal well , his most recent labwork shows his kidney values are remaining normal

11/19/23 UPDATE:
Yeti Update: he is finally out of the ICU! He is using his left front leg more and more each day and his wounds are healing up well. He has a voracious appetite and loves nothing more than to snuggle under a soft blanket.

11/16/23 UPDATE:
Yeti Update! The good news is he is very bright and eating very well today, he started to play with a toy for the first time! His red blood cell counts are holding and his wounds are healing well. The bad news is his kidney values are elevated on todays bloodwork which may indicate kidney damage from his injuries and shock. He will be spending his fourth night in the ICU.

11/15/23 UPDATE:

Yeti Update! He had a rough morning and needed an additional blood transfusion this morning however he has gained a lot of strength and started to stand and take a few steps today. His left front leg has a lot of swelling from surgery yesterday and I do not know yet how much use he will regain in this leg due to the extensive damage from his injuries. He is a very sweet boy and loves nothing more than to snuggle anyone who holds him.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed so generously to his go fund me!

Hello, yesterday Yeti came into the hospital on emergency. He was emaciated, infested with fleas and in shock after losing a large volume of blood from dog attack wounds. His owner was unable to provide enough care for his stabilization and his only option was euthanasia. Yeti was relinquished to me to provide stabilization and surgery to repair his wounds. Yeti will be looking for an adoptive home when he has recovered from surgery. If you are able to help it would be greatly appreciated.
