Little Luna Needs a Pacemaker

Hello, my name is Dezi, and I am seeking $3,000 to help cover the cost of a pacemaker for my pup Luna.

Luna is a little bundle of joy that my partner and I adopted from the Oregon Humane Society. She is a young (<2yrs old) and very energetic chihuahua terrier mix. When we adopted Luna, we found out that the family that had her before us kept her in a crate all the time and didn't play with her, even when they were home.

When we adopted Luna, we promised to give her the life she deserved, full of adventure and exercise. And we did! We constantly took her on hikes, walks, trips to the beach, to the park, and let her run and adventure to her heart's content. Luna has become like our child and a member of our family.

A few days ago, Luna's behavior suddenly shifted, and we knew something was wrong. We took her to the vet, then the ER, where they told us she would need a pacemaker due to a 3rd degree AV block in her heart. A pacemaker is the only option that will save her life. In our area, these procedures generally cost between $20k-$25k. Even with our pet insurance, the vet helping us with costs, etc., this procedure is still expensive and more than we can handle alone.

Luna is less than two years old and needs this procedure to live her life to the fullest. These funds will cover the costs of Luna's hospitalization, testing, and pacemaker procedure.
