Kids of Courage

For the past several years, I have run the Miami Half-Marathon on behalf of Kids of Courage (KOC), a volunteer-based organization that provides adventures and camping opportunities for children and young adults with chronic illnesses and disabilities. KOC also provides medical and therapeutic support for campers and their families, including assistance with equipment and other resources. This year, my long-distance running has been sidelined by injury. But I don't want that to compromise what KOC can do for its kids. So, I am aiming to complete the usual 240 miles that I log training and running through a combination of short runs and biking. Please join me to go the distance for KOC.
