YHD's Valentine's Day Puppy Dog Kissing Photo Contest
Tax deductible
How about we have a little doggy love with a Valentine's Day kissing contest?
Is your dog the big SLOBBERY kissing bandit?
Or is she the dainty princess with the adorable wet nose kiss?
Either way, or something in between, you'll have a chance to win YHD's Valentine's Day Puppy Dog Kissing Contest!
How will your donation be used?
Meet Sandy, YHD's first hearing service dog.
Sandy is 25% complete with his 14 month hearing dog training bootcamp. He's being trained to become his owner's ears. His owner, Kathy, is from the Hearing Loss Association of America.
He was evaluated and selected by our lead trainer, Guardian Service Dogs, from a litter of six puppies. Watch our TV interview about the evaluation process below. It was a featured story on KKTV's Good News Friday!
Your Hearing Dog Inc provides these service dogs to our clients at no cost.
We were fortunate enough to be awarded a generous grant from the Colorado Commission for the Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing and Deaf Blind for $10,000. View the grant award by clicking here (scroll down to 2025 awards to find YHD).
But to fully train ONE hearing service dog costs $20,850.
So we need YOUR help. How can you lend a hand?
- Enter our Kissing Contest (full details below)
- Share with your friends and family
You can enter in 3 easy steps:
1. Take a pic of your adorable furry friend giving you a smooch!
2. Submit the photo after you donate (we're suggesting $10 at a minimum). When you submit your photo on our contact page, please select "inquire about a fundraiser". You'll receive a quick response.
3. Like YHD on Facebook so you can view all the adorable pups!
Our awesome YHD team will display the photos on our Facebook page and then pick a winner. We'll pick the winner on February 14th, of course!
Your Hearing Dog Inc's mission is to provide specially trained service dogs to the deaf and hard-of-hearing community (which includes its founder David) as well as veterans with the same challenges.
