## A Mother's Plea for Help

Hello I am Lama Shurrab daughter in Law of Abeer, I have created this campaign to help my family in law evacuate Gaza.

Here’s my mother-in-low, Abeer, message to you:

I am a mother of Seven, three married and four Alaa, Mahmoud, Mohammed and Twoleen. To you, they may just be names, but I have dedicated my life to raising them and helping them become educated, cultured, and productive members of our community in Gaza.

We never imagined that war would come and shatter their dreams and hopes. Now, all of my children are unemployed.

The hard work of my lifetime has been destroyed. We are now living in a tent that is no more than 5 meters wide, with 8 people crammed together. We cannot sleep well. My husband, Ahmed, has a heart condition and backaches so he needs to sleep on a good bed in a comfortable place, but war does not distinguish between the sick and the healthy.

My daughter 10 years old tells me every day that she cannot sleep because of the intense shelling and the flies in the tent. I don't know how to comfort her. I tell her that the flies are in the tents because of the extreme heat in the summer.

We are out of options!

Time is running out for me. Leaving Gaza is the only chance for me and my family to escape the war and genocide.
