Tracy’s final expenses

Hello everyone. My name is Kasey. If you know Tracy you know I am her daughter. My mother has always has been been a caring loving person.

In January of this year she had a massive stroke. She got transferred to Chicago Hospital within a few hours of being there she had an emergency surgery on her brain and had some of her skull removed to help with the swelling. She was put on sedation so she wouldn’t have pain. After 15 days they started removing the sedation to see how she would respond and had no success. They ran scans every other day. The doctors had asked to trak her and give her the feeding tube through her stomach. I wasn’t for it because I knew her wishes. But they kept saying they believed it was the best interest for her. They then moved her to crown point vibra hospital to have long term care begin. The doctors did an egg last week on her. They called me Monday afternoon to inform me that my mom does not have much brain activity and she will never have the quality of life we would want or that would be fair to her( vegetable state). They suggested to move her to comfort care. My husband and I went Tuesday to talk with them. And was told we had to have her arrangements set up before we start comfort care. My husband and I have called around many places. To be able to have her moved and cremated we need quite a bit of money. We only have two weeks to come up with it so here I am asking for help for my mom. Right now we are just wanting to get her end of life process and once it is warm out do a life celebration for everyone who loves her to come celebrate her life.
