Yinexa's Head Radiosurgery
Donation protected
My name is Yinexa, I am 31 years old. On March I went for a colonoscopy and was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. The cancer had already metastasized to the liver. After my first chemotherapy I began to suffer from dizziness and a few days later I fainted. My husband took me to the hospital and through a head MRI we found that the cancer had also metastasized to the brain. I had a mass in the cerebellum that was causing edema and inflammation. With the grace of God, the doctors were able to successfully remove the mass without causing any damage to the brain. Lately I have been back under chemotherapy but still need to get radiosurgery in the cerebellum and the frontal cortex where a small mass still persists. This needs to be done promptly to prevent secondary metastasis in the brain. The cost of the treatment is over $20,000; unfortunately, our current insurance doesn’t cover it. We also have added expenses in medicines and visits to doctors. Also, if the chemo works well (which I know it will happen), I have to undergo liver and colon surgery. The expenses are huge and that is the reason we are asking for your help. I have two beautiful children and I will continue fighting for them. I want to thank you in advance for your help. God bless you all.
