YIP 15 Participants Internship Fundraiser
Donation protected
Hello friends!
We are the participants of YIP 15. The International Youth Initiative Program is a societal entrepreneurship program based in Sweden. The holistic education is designed to help young people awaken their initiative to meet the world’s needs. To put our learning into practice, we will all be participating in internships across the world. From March 14th to April 14th, we will be working with organizations and initiatives in India, Nepal, Bulgaria, the US, Senegal, Lithuania, South Africa, Egypt, and Zimbabwe that practice societal entrepreneurship in the realms of social, educational, agricultural, and environmental change.
For us all to attend these internships, we are fundraising to cover the cost of travel and accommodation. We are fundraising through various projects such as theater performances, concerts, a Christmas festival, art magazines, postcards, sponsored running events, and this GoFundMe page! If you feel called to help us make these internships happen we would be so grateful for any contribution. Thank you for your support!
With love,
YIP 15

Internship Locations:
Uttarakhand, India - Navdanya
Navdanya’s learning centre is dedicated to education for sustainable living and earth citizenship which is located at Navdanya Biodiversity Conservation Farm in Doon Valley, Uttarakhand, nestled between the Ganga and the Yamuna, the Shivalik and Himalayan mountain ranges. Navdanya has created a biodiversity sanctuary for birds, butterflies, insects and soil microorganisms, through saving more than 1500 varieties of seeds and trees. Here, nature in its diversity and dynamism is the highest teacher. We draw inspiration from India’s ancient Aranya Sanskruti – of learning from nature and forests for how to live as Vasudhaiva Kutumbukam (The Earth family). Yippies will be saving/storing seeds, harvesting, cooking, and cleaning food from the gardens and preserving knowledge.
