House Fire

Family, friends, God, la Virgencita! Never did i expect a tragedy come to my life like this. Right when my life was turning around and got my dream job starting Monday my family gets tested and lose everything overnight. Life gives us 1 step forward and pushes us 3 steps back.

My name is Ricardo Palma and last night as I was sleeping my nieces wake me up for a fire and right away saw the damage in their room and ran everyone out the house. Everyone made it out in their pjs and no time to save anything. My parents and grandma were not home called 911 right away. The Fire accelerated and got the rest of the house and unfortunately lost everything. Thank god a everyone is safe including our 5 dogs. Fire was on scene for hours until we were able to go in but literally lost it all. Not just our home but my dads business is from home too.

As most of you know ive been living under the poverty line since i was born and my dad does customize jerseys and t shirts for living with all the machines in the garage. Last night that exploded. Not only did we lose our home but we lost our income as well. I would never ask for anything but I am asking for my family for any donations we can take as we are now homeless :(

All i was able to save is a pair of underwear and socks. We were renting this home so we own no home and our insurance would not cover it. This tragedy is really testing us and hope we stay strong as a family and get all the support we can have! I appreciate you guyz calling me and we are safe! I really just want my nieces to have a roof and clothes where this trauma will subside. Please share with local community as all 8 of us are looking to see what we are going to do with jobs, schools, etc. Unfortunately that is ehat sucks about life that it still goes and yet we have nothing. Literally nothing

anything will help and my nieces are my angels and I just want food and roof for them and the fact that this fire happened it motivates me to become a firefighter even more to help families like mines as now i know how they will feel. Definitely a life experience and trying to stay positive that we are all safe.
