Hello everyone,
The Viewing of Jose Linares will be held Dec 29th 2021
3pm-9pm Judkins Colonial Home Inc.
428 west fourth st. Plainfield NJ 07061
My husband Jose Linares passed away December 22nd 2021 from complications of COVID. He contracted the disease November 21s. He was tested in the ER and was confirmed positive. A few days later he was admitted in the CCU unit on last intervention of non invasive device for oxygen . A few days after his sp02 dropped dramatically 3 times in a few hours. After that the decision was made for him to be intubate in a induced coma in order to save him. He fought long and hard to stay with us but, unfortunately his body could no longer handle it. The staff did everything they could for him till the very end including letting us stay on video with him through out his final night, so that he could hear us sending all our love even though we couldn't be in the room with him. We are grateful we were able to spend his last moments together over video and in person.
Jose was a loving father, husband, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend to many. He always went out of his way to be there for others when he could. He always took time to put others before himself and made time where there was none. We were able to share many loving memories with Jose over the years and are heartbroken from his loss, he will forever live in our hearts and minds. We are thankful to the Lord that he gave us the time he did with Jose. We wish to send Jose to Guatemala, where he was born and raised , where he may be buried in the presence of his mother, father, friends and family, which we know is what he would have wanted, so this is why we are asking for help. As well for any unforeseen costs that come with this process.
He was a hard worker and family man, a loving giant. If he touched your life, as we know he's touched so many, we would greatly appreciate any help toward us fulfilling his final wishes.
We would love to hear if you have any stories or photos you would be willing to share with us.
