Greggs Hut Roof Repair

Some or all of you may already know that Gregs Hut requires urgent repairs, predominantly to the roof. We spoke with David Moorat, Director of the Mountain Bothy Association and guardian of Gregs Hut who told us the quote they have for the remedial work is in the region of £70,000; The particular build requirements and remote location not helping with costs. David tells us, perhaps not surprisingly, this significantly exceeds the funds available to the Association; a primarily volunteer-led organisation.
