Help Us Lay Janice Cockroft to Rest

From Jini Kilgore Cockroft: Hello Family and Friends. As some of you know, my husband, Willie's daughter passed away last week, and her funeral will be held next week on Friday, October 25, 2024, in Peoria, IL, Willie's hometown. Janice "Jeanie" Cockroft was just 58 years old and had been diagnosed with cancer in February. She and all of us prayed and held out hope for her healing, but God chose to end her suffering by taking her home to be with Him.

While we are grateful that she no longer is suffering, we now face the task of burying her because, unfortunately, she made her transition without having secured life insurance or other means to pay for her funeral and burial. She left behind three siblings, her mother and father, six young adult children (20s-early 30s), and seven grandchildren. All of them have been trying to raise money for her funeral, and so far have $7K committed. As part of the $7K, $3K is for the burial, and Willie is paying for that. However, $6K more is needed as the total funeral cost plus burial is $13K. Her dad and I are trying to raise another $6K by Sunday, October 20. Won't you join me in helping us bury Willie's daughter.
